Our Farm

Our company produces quality wines and an excellent and valuable extra virgin olive oil. Our 3 hectares of vineyards are cultivated with Vernaccia, San Giovese, Merlot and Canaiolo grapes from which we produce wines in purity and unique blends. Our olive trees instead give us a precious extra virgin olive oil with an intoxicating scent, cold pressed to ensure quality and not alter its characteristics. For about a year we also produce the famous and unique Saffron of San Gimignano.

TERRE DI LANTIS

TOSCANA IGT ROSSO BIO

Denomination: IGT Toscana Rosso

Training system: spurred cordon and guyot

Planting density: 5000 plants per hectare

Method of Harvest: manual, careful selection of grapes. Vinification: destemming crushing followed by fermentation of grapes in cement tanks. Aging in oak barrels of 10 and 30 hl. Ruby red color. Very fresh intense fruity nose finished by soft floral notes. The palate is soft and moderately tannic. Ideal serving temperature 18 C. Classic pairings with Tuscan cold cuts, it goes perfectly with all dishes of Tuscan cuisine, roasts, grilled meats, cheeses.

LUCCIOLAIA

SUPERTUSCAN IGT ROSSO

Method of Harvest: manual in boxes, careful selection of grapes in the cellar. Vinification in cement tank, aging for 12 months in French oak barrels of medium toasting of the second step. Color violet reflections, intense ruby red. Full-bodied and broad nose, harmonious palate, dry, robust and rightly tannic. Ideal serving temperature 18 ºC. It goes well with roast or grilled red meats, braised or stewed meats, game and mature cheeses.

EGLOGA IV

MERLOT SAN GIMIGNANO DOC

Method of Harvest: manual in boxes, careful selection of grapes in the cellar. Traditional vinification vinification in red in small cement tanks with maceration of the skins for 15-18 days, frequent mixing of the skins and three delestages. Aging in French oak barrels (for a third new) for 36 months. Aging in bottle minimum 6 months. Bright ruby red color tending to garnet with aging. Nose typical scent of black berries, cherry cherry. Rich and full-bodied palate with notes of jam, excellent finish with persistence and prospect of longevity.

HIBERNATUM

IGT TOSCANA BIANCO BIO

Plants per hectare: production per block 2 kg

Method of Harvest: mechanical harvest
Vinification cryomacerazione of the grapes, static decantation of the must after destemming and soft pressing, inoculum with yeast selected on clear, fermentation at controlled temperature and aging in steel. Aging in bottle at least 2 months before commercialization. Bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Gentle nose with fruity aromas and notes of citrus and white peach. Palate of good structure, savory and dry. Ideal serving temperature 12 ºC. Matching is perfect as an aperitif.
